BIO

Today I live and work in Dorchester, Massachusetts. I have been a practicing artist for 25+ years. I furthered my education at the New England Institute of Art studying Music Engineering, and at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MASSART) studying Painting and Fine Arts.

I was raised in Medway, Massachusetts, about an hour outside Boston. I was drawn to the creative arts at a very young age, and I had supportive artistic and musical grandparents who were quick to nurture my expressive spirit. I have also been fortunate to have hardworking parents who have been supportive of my artistic endeavors.

Acrylic painting has always been the backbone of my career in the arts. For a long time, I created expressive abstractions, and more recently I have been at play with colorful geometric illustrative paintings that appear almost digital. I am motivated by the quickness with which acrylic paints dry and the ability to build layers upon layers with speed and intensity.

The subject of my work has largely been focused on the journeys we take as individuals through our lives. Art allows me to take time to slow down and be present in my life and stay focused on meditative, repetitive practices. I am most strongly inspired by the human condition. I also pull inspiration from geometry and mathematics’ role in nature, the vastness of the cosmos, and I am inspired by the mystery of where we go after we no longer hold space with our physical bodies here on earth.

I sold my first painting in 2015, and since, I have sold many paintings to my supportive online community. In September of 2026, I joined my first gallery led by Claudia Fiks at TAG The Art Gallery in the SOWA district of Boston, Massachusetts.
